Leave it in HIS hands.
Leave it in HIS hands.
I come from a religious family and have always believed that there is a higher power who controls everything. The only thing truly in our control is our effort. There’s a saying I grew up hearing: “Karam kar, phal de chinta chhod.” Do your deeds, and leave the results to Him.
It sounds simple, but let me be honest—I’ve struggled with it. As human beings, it’s not easy to move forward with eyes closed, simply trusting. Sometimes, we need a stronger push or deeper motivation to surrender.
I would like to believe that everyone in this world carries only kindness in their hearts, but reality reminds us otherwise. Life shows us moments when people who we trusted the most , shared our good times with step back during our struggles, leaving us to face hardships alone.
Today was one of those days when I found myself sharing my worries with my mom—the pillar of strength in our family. As always, she had one answer to my restless thoughts: “Just pray. Everything will fall into place.” She reminded me of another saying I’ve heard from her countless times:
“Kneel in front of Him, because when you do, He stands up for you. And when He stands up for you, no one can stand against you.”
Her words brought me back to the truth I often forget: my job is to stay true to myself and keep putting in effort—the rest is in His hands.
We all need these reminders now and then. We all need that one person who helps us return to faith when doubts creep in. Surrendering does not mean giving up. It means trusting that His ways are higher, His timing is better, and His hands are stronger.
